I enjoy working together with others and protecting a space. I would find it exciting to strategize with my team to stop the Aakho players from pushing us out or escaping when caught.

If you could add a new rule to the game, what would it be? What would be the benefit of the new rule?
Answer:
If I could add a new rule to the game, it would be that once during the game, the Aami team is allowed to pull in an Aakho player who is near the circle’s edge, even if he hasn’t entered the circle. This would add more thrill to the game and encourage Aakho players to plan their entry more carefully. The benefit of this rule would be to make the game more balanced and exciting, giving both teams a chance to use clever strategies.

Game: Shadow Chase
Time: 15 minutes per round
Number of players: 8 to 10 players
Material needed: A chalk or rope to draw a large circle, and coloured cloth bands to tie around arms (for team identification)

Rules:

1. Divide players into two teams – Chasers and Runners.
2. A large circle is drawn on the ground. The Runners stay inside the circle.
3. The Chasers stand outside the circle and try to tag the shadows of the Runners without stepping into the circle.
4. A Runner is considered “out” if his/her shadow is tagged.
5. After 7 minutes, teams switch roles.
6. The team that tags the most shadows wins.

Foul:

• If a Chaser steps into the circle, one point is deducted from their team.
• If a Runner steps out of the circle, they are considered out.
