His mother agrees to let the puppy stay, on the condition that Badal takes care of it. They name the puppy Moti, and soon, a strong bond forms between Badal and Moti. They become inseparable, sharing meals, playing games, and spending all their time together.

However, one rainy day, Badal encounters trouble when he slips and falls into a deep pit on his way home from school. Worried when Badal doesn’t return home on time, his mother gathers neighbours to search for him, with Moti eagerly accompanying them. Moti, using his keen sense of smell, locates Badal trapped in the pit and begins barking to alert the neighbours.
